Exaust sensor code question

Have a 2011 that Thu a code "exhaust gas temp sensor voltage too high". What can cause this other than a bad sensor and is there a ohm test or something for these sensors. Thanks

Bad sensor, seems to be more common in the 11 an 12 models.
