EW/ID/SW'er Big thanks people.

We went riding yesterday in the Little Belts where there is NO snow,;) 99% of all the bugs worked out on the EricW/Indydan/SW'er sled. The expression on sons face is....well, its what a father likes to see these days. Anyhow, a big thanks to ALL who contributed. You know who you are. I added pics to my album. I am afraid they will appear too small as an attatchment but I will try...

Ty aka "goinvertical"

p.s. If you do view the album, check out the Shift and you will see why I am "goinvertical" ;)

on the snow

Remember, getting back on the snow is due to all of you guys/gals. Maybe it took a long time, maybe I cussed in frustration once in awhile, but yesterday made it all worth it! I have pics and posts of this and other moments that will live on long after the thread dies. :) Woohoo!

That is just awesome man. Great to see you and your son rippin it up. I'm assuming by the amount of air under your skis that your surgeries went well. You look great in a "verticle" environment.

Lots of winter left in many places, hope you and your son make some more tracks tracks this year. You/He should be very proud of your determination to see this build through, hurdles and all. Your a great man, Proud to know ya. Have fun man, you deserve it. EW

I did not contribute to the build, but I have read all of the threads and have even had a tear in my eye from time to time.
The times of your build and enjoying the results with your son are priceless! And like you said will live on long after these threads are gone.
I give a lot of props to those who helped out on your build, and huge props to you for your determination and making the most of what you have.
These have been some of the best threads on SW IMO.
I hope that sometime in the future I have the oprotunity to help you or others in similar situations.
Mike

Enjoy the snow and time spent with friends/family!

fun fun fun

I was along for the ride yesterday and I must say that sled RIPS!!!! One thing I know about Ty is you would be hard pressed to find someone with more of a passion for sleddin. I guess you could call him a throttle jockey.:D I dont think I would have ever gotten into ridin like I have if it wasnt for him. He has helped me with everything from finding and buying my sled to all the needed updates. Which as everyone knows the 05 900's need. Thanks to everyone who was part of this whole deal. You couldnt have given that motor a better home.

X2! Glad to see all the hard work in action!!! :) :o The individuals involved in this (Ty, Dan, Eric, others that I do not know of, etc.) are truly an inspiration to the rest of us. I only wish there were more humble people like them.

I have to agree - these have made me smile and made me remember all the good times I have with my dad, and have been some of the best threads on SW.

Killerk,
YOU did contribute! You took the time to read the thread/posts and upon your own admission got a good feeling over it. That is what Indydan's intention probably was, besides getting us on the snow. My son is out babying his old/new ride as I type. I will add some more pics in my album for all to see showing we didn't just "spoof"" some hill all day. :)

thanks

I just wanted to get on here and thank Ty and everyone else involved with the EW/ID/SW'er snowmobile. Ty let me take it up yesterday for my sister to ride. She is 22 and had never ridden a snowmobile. She had a blast and was starting to get the hang of it. She is a little timid around throttles due to a bad history involving fourwheelers and pickups but with time she is going to get good. THANKS again. Here are a few pics from the day. Good spring ride. Only wish Ty could've come along.

:)

Another sledder is born! Thanks to EricW, Indydan, and of course the SW community, the sled built for my son was put to good use. My Son accompanied Adam and Allie on my Shift:eek: This is just a bonus for all sledders. I would have tagged along but wasnt feeling up to snuff. After warning my Son at least a hundred times to not wreck the Shift, a good day was had. You should have seen this girls face as they were unloading back at home and going thru Adams pics on camera. That was priceless. I think the SW community just gained another female snowmobiler! Thanks again people.

this here is what its all about folks!!!!
I give everyone involved a BIG 2 THUMBS UP!:)
