EVOLUTION POWERSPORTS 1100T Cold Air Intake

Here are pictures of our cold air intake for the 1100T. This intake fits 100% under hood and under factory plastic. It eliminates the stock PITA air filter. The stock filter is supposed to draw from the area behind the windshield, but the fact is the hood/filter/ filter cover is so sloppy that much of the air it draws comes from under the hood right next to the exhaust manifold. The EVOPS intake allows you to draw all air from the dash area.

Best of all, on our Big Chute/Holeshot and Super Chute/Slingshot turbos, our intake makes 5 hp more than stock above 8000 rpms.

This cold air intake is for snow use only.

These will be in stock in 4 weeks. Pre orders will be up on our website shortly.

Price is $259.99

Using this intake setup does a person need to get a roll over valve? If the sled was rolled and oil leaked into the intake hose wouldn't the oil go right into the turbo?

So this setup only uses the prefilters on the hood? No internal paper filter like stock?

Yes, the hood mesh is the only filtration. It will be important for guys to verify the condition of this material on your sled. If there are any rips or places where it is not bonded they will have to be fixed prior to running our intake. The mesh that Cat is using on the area behind the hood is that same material they have been using for years on two strokes. Also, most two stroke turbos use the same material for filtration.

Good job, but...

Great job on the intake Jim. Only problem is JustBoostIt is now going to get more of my $$$ lol. Maybe I should just mail you guys my paycheques, and you can just ship stuff as it's built...

Looks good I did the same thing with 2" PVC pipe, with the stock set up oil goes into the turbo also just the paper filter helps sock it up abit.

Nice. A guy could easily run two aftermarket style filters too. The ones that look like a perforated can with a "sock" over it?

Will the intake get hot from underhood temps? Would some of that gold heat shielding help keep the intake air cooler?
