Evolution Big Chute 275hp kit hits snow in Valemount!

After a long day of getting sidetracked at work we finally got out of town and arrived in Valemount at 3:30 am. Better late than never lol.

Big thanks to Jim at Evolution to get the kit to me Thursday so I could get it installed to put time on it this weekend. They have a lot going on with their Wildcat they are running this weekend in Idaho.

The purpose of this ride is to form any opinions for improvements or changes. This kit has been on the snow for 4+ months so we are down to the short hairs on changes. If all goes as expected it will become a production kit with minor physical changes as far as install tweeks.

For reference:
about 40lbs out
divorced 2.5 dp and straight pipe
Studs
PC 2.25
Clutching

Riding with a stock m1100 with a 1.9 hijacker and a helix.

We are planning to ride Clemina today if anyone is around and wants to find us to see/ride the kit.

Teriffic 2 days of riding with the BC kit. It's a well tuned kit, great job by the guys at Evolution. Really smooth power delivery, no burbles or hiccups. Considering how warm it was i would have expected some small issues....but no. Great to have 3 sleds with same clutching. One with a 1.9 hijacker stock track, and Ghostrider73 drove out to ride with his 2.0 and a 3" 174 CE.

6500-8200', 21 or 70 degrees, crazy. Picked up some 30 SPF on way out of town after a little sunburn yesterday lol.

Super sunny so the camera is really bright. Gotta see if I can edit some contrast out. Home tomorrow. Will start a new video thread as the other one is getting long.

Justboostit I just went to your site to look for info on the Evops turbo kits and I couldn't find anything. Where is that info posted?

Big chute big difference

To say the big chute was impressive is an understatement all 3 riders were close to equal weight and sleds were a very good cross section of popular mods I didn't expect it to be as impressive as it was and I have no affiliation with any of the marketers whatsoever either whit knuckle or evom just you're average guy who wanted to see how it worked so joined them for a day of riding. When gene gets the videos posted you will see what I'm saying.

I was running the 275hp kit on straight av. I didn't have the Evo fan kit on the intercooler or the silicon boost hoses either which would have helped in the temps we were riding.

I haven't had time to start putting all the info on our site. I might just end up putting a link to the Evo site. Go check it out over there at www.evopowersports.com

If you have any questions I should be able to help you.

I also want to confirm what Ghostrider73 said. He is a guy I have been talking to in PM's over the last couple months just like quite a few other guys on SW. He always said once we got one to put on the snow to give him a call 'cause he wanted to see and ride one first hand. So he drove out from Edson (2.5 hours) Sunday morning to ride with us. He was planning to ride Saturday with us but the PoPo nipped him for a 24hr Friday nite lol.:face-icon-small-dis

GR73 has the stock drivers in with his 3", it's tight he said. Wether that affects performance at the track speed he is carrying now... probably not.

Busy family night of sports so hopefully I can get the editting done and get it up. Multiple helment cams and angles so it should be good.

Some teaser info.....

When my blowoff valve boost reference line came off I only made 13-14lbs....and that was enough to keep up with the 1.9 on the other sled. With the line back on it ran 23-24lbs all day.

sled running specs:

1.9 162 stock PC: 75g Cutler turbo arms empty (couldn't quite hold rpm on top end, could have dropped some weight but couldn't), 45-47mph
2.0 174 3" CE: similar weights in D&D arms (held good rpm), 55-58mph
BC kit 162 stock PC: 85g Cutler turbo arms empty (held 7850-7950 all day), 65-68mph
