I know Evolution will be on sooner then later to answer this question. But I.ll take a stab at it. The anitlag is just that. Off the line the sled is going to make boost you hold the throttle open and the engine is limited by rpm due to timing. This timing spools the turbo. Bam your making arm stretching/flip the sled over backwards boost off the line. Fun and neat in my opinion. The multimap would be great for a guy who wants that little extra on a really deep day or a day that you now your going to pull some chutes with buddies. The bragging kinda day. Full your tank with avgas and reap the benefits of the extra octane and timing that goes with it to increase hp.
This is really no different than the big chute turbos. Jim will correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the bc250 vs the big chute 275(avgas) was mostly in advanced timing with vary little difference in actual pressure into the engine. A different timing map could be used because the fuel would tolerate it. Lets face it when you put in avgas your getting 100 octane. When you put in 91 I would be willing to guess that you typically don't get over 89 octane.
nother area that I think the multimap might be great in convince would be the ride in on the trail. You can clutch your sled to be right at perfect rpm in the powder. Typically when you do this then you overrev on the trail. Not a big deal but with the multi map click down one setting and stay off the rev limiter on the trail.
