Everest now or snowcheck?

dealer i talked to told me no major updates as far as he's heard about a week ago. i was in the same shoes as you but i decided to buy a everest. 8800 sounds like a good price. all said and done i was at 9100.00.

IMO, go with the Everest. Unless you want to know what elevation you are riding. ALL SKI DOO SHOCKS SUCK, EVEN THE Xs. My Everest runs just as good as an X. All the X guys I know have ditched their tracks and gotten the one that is on the Everest. They hated them. I don't know about you, but my decals come off right away. Ski Doo isn't changing anything with these at all. I'd grab the Everest for 8800. Thats a deal, I had to pay 9200.

Chit, I just checked my dealer's website! He is selling an Everest 154 for $8650! I should call and complain, he told me that 9200 was as low as he could go!

Regardless of what people think, the "X" sticker DOES NOT add horsepower. Use the money you save and snag some Fox Floats, less weight, better shock! Flowrites in the airbox, and install some sort of vent kit in the side panels to release the hot under hood air and to keep the clutches cooler.

check out steel dreams. mt.vernon wa. $8400.00 everest 154 .$1800. savings you could afford to buy shocks and alot of nice parts even an x decal if it,s needed.

If you ride alot of deep powder, I'd wait and snocheck the longer track. I could care less about the stickers, or the shocks, but I'll never go shorter than what I have right now with the 163". It makes going through the deep snow so much easier. JMO! The altimeter is pretty cool too when it's working right.

IMO, the 163 is for people that dont want to get off the seat and ride! Not really, but im struggling with the decision of 154 vs 146, I want something that will be easy to throw around and take some jumps.

Get the everest, you'll never use the gauge it'll be covered in snow anyhow!!! the shocks, who cares.. Are you ever gonna rebuild them?? No.. Get the deal and take some time and set it up. I regeared to 19t top gear and put in 130-350 spring with 2mm over race rollers. (no pin weight) sled rocks. I also just put in flow rites in the air box as it bogs here and there.. :beer;:beer;

Do you care or not if you have a chrome moly front suspension and better brake and higher handlebars? I have an xp but would have went with an Everest and made the changes that I needed.
