Just thought I would post a quick note to say that yesterday some sh$$ Stick stole out of the back of my Pickup. I was in the big parking lot just past Granite. I think all they took was a tie down for my trailer.. But I wont be leaving anything in the back anymore..
I thought us snowmobiliers were supposed to stick together?

sorry to hear that.. I've unloaded plenty of times there and never had a problem. I friend told me not to leave anything out in the open he told me that 7 years ago and I've had good luck..

We try to keep things locked up when we are there, wyrider had his sled stolen up at bear in '06.

I would just like to see someone steel somthing and then brake doun and the guy he stole it from show up to help and find out it is the doorknob that just jacked his stuff so he can get what he has coming!!! Sorry to hear you stuff got jacked. We are suppose to be a family and watch over each other.WTF!!

I think it would be fun to put one of those tree camera things in the back window of my truck and if there was any movement in the back of my truck.. BAM.. I got a picture of the SOB

I wanted one for hunting anyways.. Maybe we could then organize hanging..

Some friends of mine from Greybull had the tires and wheels and the spare stolen off their trailer on Christmas day up there. Those parking lots from Ranger Creek turnoff to the other side of Granite pass are nice, but the down side is there is lots of people driving by. Takes a real POS to steal out of the back of a truck.

Every year for the past 3 years I have had a 5 gallon gas can stolen from the back of my truck when I park near Bear. Best part is after the 1st time it was stolen 3 years ago I now keep my gas in my trailer, and one SPECIAL can of gas in the back of the truck just to see if it gets stolen. Last year it was taken it was twice

oh yea the best part.. My SPECIAL gas is just plain old unleaded with lots and lots of SUGAR and SAND baby.. Yea those S.O.Bs that take my can have lots of fixing to do after they dump that 5 gallons in... haha.. Just my little way of sticking it to the S.O.Bs that steal from other sleders.
