Ethanol setting

When my '13 800 Pro sled is set on ethanol setting how much horsepower am i losing over non ethanol setting?
I had non ethanol gas in sled for break in and ran on ethanol setting.
Was running same deep snow sidehill with Artic Cat PC 800 and he had better track speed. Both '13 163's Should I expect a little pick me up when I change setting to non ethanol?

That zuke 800 ho is a really stout motor. On a side hill or in a meadow at elevation, I'm just happy to keep up with one.

FWIW, my 11 loosened up after about 300 miles. The ethanol plug on the 11 adds 5% more fuel. That's it. Can't speak to the 13 precisely. Difference on the 11 is negligible.

The non-ethanol setting is going to lean the motor only by about 3%, I don’t think you’re going to notice.

The engine will open a bit more, once the break in period is over

I noticed when I changed mine around running non-ethonol 91. Just seemed snappier and seemed to have a little more punch to her. Also gained a couple mph track speed but that could have been the difference in snow conditions... The biggest change I noticed was somewhere around 120 total miles when the break in was over. Gained about 400 rpm and a whole bunch of track speed.

Wish I could of seen my RPM's on hill but the snow was so deep I had to continually keep swiping air filters to keep motor running and instrument pod was buried in snow. On that hill priority, keep motor breathing. Know I have to listen to the cats smack talk of edging me out in track speed. Next weekend will go to non ethanol setting. Feel the power.......

I think responsiveness changes some, but I don't "feel" a power change.
By feel, I mean seat of the pants or tug of the arms.

I don't think you'll catch the cat w/ stock HP. Ride better than em, those skills will go a lot further than the power. ;)
