I have asked quite a few people and haven't gotten an answers. Are they putting ethanol in the pumps in the Anchorage area? If so why is it not posted on the pumps, and where can I get high octane non-ethanol?
There is no ethanol fuel in Alaska. That is one worry we don't have. On the flip side of that, 90 octane is the best you will find in Alaska. However, several years ago they did run oxyginated fuel for one or two winters and you had to jet a little fatter when they did that. Haven't seen that for a few years now though.
