Ethanol Fuel

Apparently the State of ID is about to mandate use of Ethanol fuel statewide. There is a petition against this action at Phillips 66 on Overland in Boise. The clerk working the counter didn't know much about it so I'll check back later. If anyone else has information feel free to fill us in on the rest of the story.
Apparently protests have worked in at least one other state.

I heard that also from the Conoco station owner. He says as of January 1, he will have no fuel w/o ethanol. Currently he has premium. Does anyone know of places possibly exempt, maybe a marine place? I heard Oregon does not require at marine? Anyone in the Boise area?

As of Jan 1 2010 ethanol is not required in premium fuel in Oregon. The green Portland area though may have a requirement. You have to look a little but you can find it.

It's getting worse, now EPA has approved 15% Ethanol but there is a lawsuit filed because it's raising the price of corn. Utah has also mandated all Ethanol as of January 1, 2011.

It begins with a nudge then government will if we don't watch to careful will shove us which they are now .I don't believe ethanol is not keeping price down to me but I could be wrong.Going up to %15 will force what we buy for sleds or not sled at all!
