Error Code: Fuel Pump Driver Circuit, Driver Circuit Open/Grounded, 1347-5

Yet another error code on an 11 Pro.

This showed up after pulling a hill, during which the sled felt like it may have been doing a DET cut-out sorta thing, but I had no DET errors. It felt to be surging or bogging? This was at WOT, of course it happened in a very bad spot with heavy load.

The error didn't clear with 2-3 restarts while on the mountain.
I rode the sled back to the truck (~6 miles) and had no issues during the trail ride, even tho the light did remain on.
Until I got home and unloaded the sled, it was gone, no more error.

WTF? I'm sick of these electrical anomalies Polaris....

So what am I looking for? Do I forget about it, let it happen again and have it clear itself up on its own... These engine and electronics are so tempermental its ridiculous.
Oh, you mean I can't use the vehicle in snow? Because it may get wet? Yeah, that makes sense.... /sigh

Seriously tho, any suggestions/ideas would be appreciated.

Are you running ANY kind or electrical accessory on your sled... or changed anything to the electrical system.

Have you taken any hits to the bumper and possibly loosened the "wad" of ground wires on the bumper mounting tab under the hood?

Check ALL the ground wires to see if any have come loose or frayed from the ring terminal.

Check that the fuel pump, hood and ECU connector are firmly plugged in.

With the sled running check what voltage you see a the the fuel pump prime plug. Should read around 14.5vdc.

Thanks I'll check into those.

I run no extra electronics.

The bumper has taken normal/small hits, nothing serious enough to bend it up...but nothing at all recent/this season.
I'll check the tab/ground wires anyway, its easy enough.

I'll check/re-connect connections, just to say I tried it too.

Thanks for all the suggestions mh!

Just to follow up on this, since I got a PM asking about it the other week.

Here is what I did to seemingly resolve the issue; the error code hasn't returned since.

2013/01-05 : 56.7 miles - 3.3 hours - "Prior to ride: 1oz of Stabil. During ride: ERROR: Fuel Pump Driver Circuit Driver Circuit Open/Grounded 1347-5."
2013/01-16 - 18 : 87.5 miles - 10 hours - "Prior: Replaced fuel filter. Dielectric greased TPS plug, dash/hood plug, resistor plug, fuel pump plug, tested voltage at fuel pump plug; 13.8v. During: Had WoT cut-outs; replaced plugs and it cleared up. Plugs had oil build up."

I suspect the resolution was fuel filter and/or dielectric grease in my case. But knowing these Pros, it could just have been just another random anomaly they seem to produce.

Id check all the wires coming from fuel pump to computer i no the 2011 had some electrical issues due to bad wire routing. It sounds like some wires rubbed through in that circuit.
