I was there to see that in person.....epic day until that happened. Must have been 2-300 peeps at the bottom of the hill watching the hillclimbs that day. When he started his ascent, we were thinking WTF....where is he going? A lucky man indeed !!!

I believe it was 2005.

That was the same event where some guy had a 750 hp freak snowmobile. It was choppered in, the fuel was added, then heated then it freakin flew up the hill until it spun the track off and did endos up hill.....I wish I could remember who built it !! It was fast. I, sure I have pics somewhere.

that was chad rebec from cr racing nitro methane sled rated r & it was the next year that it crashed.pretty sure this one was 07 bigdawg shootout i was there too .this was the rated r crash.

I think you are right about the years.....I know the first year we went in through Highfalls and rode in past Brandywine. Had to buy gas at the shootout to get back and the next year we went in via the Soo River. 05/06 or 06/07

he runs & owns cr racing,sled was at his shop but have not been there in a few years.
