Ok I have a 2011 pro with 500 unboosted miles and about 1000 boosted miles. I feel the need to rebuild the top end. What compression @ 1000' should my motor have and what compression should I rebuild? Who's kit or should I go stock. Any info would be great guys thanks. Boston do you guys do this work as well may have to talk with you not sure if I should take on this task.

We dont really go by compression or leakdown alone. Most failures are the skirt collapsing and then breaking off. There is no non intrusive test for the actual pistons themselves...only the rings.I would go with the RK tek Pistons and his turbo head. Pistons are cheap insurance. We can take care of you whatever you decide.

Completely agree with the compression test (on this motor) not giving you any real info. I've seen rings worn so bad that I would never believe would seal as well as the compression showed.

No disrespect to RKT but the MTNTK kits really are holding up well. I was skeptical at first as I've always felt an OEM piston was best however, the fix kits have proven themselves to be very reliable and perform very well. The added torque is a nice bonus as well. I've installed 3 in CFI-4's and 2 into CFI-2's now.

MTNTK have also teamed up with Power Addiction head's so if you want a turbo specific head, one call will do it all.
