Engine management system light

The yellow indicator lamp is on within the tach on an 07' summit.
I am helping a friend re-install his shaved head on his 07' rev.. Yellow indicator light is now on.
He re-installed it. Are we missing a quick connect or is something else not right?

Is the light on all the time, as soon as the sled is started? (maybe a fogotten connector on the e-rave or TPS if you had them off)

Or does it come on after its been running (maybe hes getting bad deto?)

that would make sense

I would have to look through again and see what may not be re-connected.
The detonation makes sense, we could smell anti-freeze but attributed that to some being left on the pistons after the swap..
Knock sensor is reconnected, etc.. Detonation with some old fuel and a new head might be the answer. Seems to have better throttle response even at this elevation.
