I have a 2006 800 that the engine light is flashing. It runs fine any idea why it would be flashing?

No beeps just the light.

Check you wiring at the ECM and harness for Green on pins and harness. Should clean it and put dielectric grease on them. If that doesn't fix you may need to replace them as we did on one of our sleds.

I have seen the CEL flag sensor's and other times they are nuisance indicators the computer sends out. Check the sensor's on the engine and all the electrical connectors. Disconnect one at a time, make sure you don't find any corrosion, dirt, ect.in any of the connections. After that smear some dialectric grease, vaseline, on the fe-male side of each connector. It couldn't hurt to pick-up a can of electrical contact cleaner and clean each connector, inspect, and then do the vaseline.

Check the TPS wires near the right carb. If not routed properly, they can rub through causing a slight grounding issue. Ask me how is know??? LOL
Good point! I used a tie wrap around the frame to keep the TPS wiring away the throttle cable. That connector is always a biatch to get off!

Thanks guys that gives me a couple more angles to check.I went through the dpm tonight it all looks good.
