Engine light on

A good friend of mine just recently had his son's seld repaired that had an engine light on. The dealer changed a sensor on it and the light went out but this weekend it came back on again. This was the first ride since the repair was done, what could be causing the light to come on? It is a 2006 Summit 600 HO SDI and the only mod to it is a can.

do you know if the can has the sencer for oxygen that could do it

The dealer should be able to hook it up to their computer and tell by the codes that are causing the light to come on. There are a ton of reasons that it can come on. Dealer may consider hooking it up for free since it was just in there. Maybeeee. Good luck. I had a light problem last year and think that it was as simple as water in the gas.

Possible knock sensor indicates hard impacts like rocks, stumps, etc.....
