engine light on 07 Rev????

I've just bought an 07 rev and when I start it the engine light remains on?? Any Ideas on where to start checking. Thanks for the help!​

Check all electrical connections, and check the exhaust sensor. Carefully. It breaks really easily and is expensive to replace. That's what was broke last time my engine light was one.

Agree with Skidoogirl. If you have been messing with the carbs, check that you hooked up the airbox sensor too.
I had light problems and it sucks. Your dealer can put it on their computer and steer you in the right direction too but it may cost you their time.

there is no exaust senser , but the one on the air box makes the light come on,and the connection to the exaust valves thats mouted on top of the carbs,or the throttle position senser mounted to the side of the carbs on the right side it's hard to get at or see without removing the air box,is there a beep once in a while with the light?
