Whos had one and what was the reason, where did the failure occur. I would like to keep this thread to motor failures only.... Lets see how many there are with problems. I am at 750 miles, 250 with slp pip can and pcv and 70 with Power Addiction head. Sled absolutely rips.. no failures to date. Cheers

I guess these motors are holding together better than some people are saying? That is great news.

3- 163's in our close group, anywhere from 3-500 miles, none have ever been back to the dealer for anything warranty wise..all 3 rip....

Four of them in our riding group, one lost a rod bearing at 700 miles on Jan 1 and had new motor by the 17 and has ran great all the rest have around 1500 miles no problems.

Lost my motor at 800 miles, Mag side oil seal on the crank. There have been about 10 sleds here in Northern CO that have died as well.

1,200 miles absolutley no problems what so ever. Local dealer in town told me has not had one come back at all(Pro rush, Pro Rmk)800 for motor problems. This motor rocks stock no matter what a dyno sheet says.Thank you Polaris!!

1,060 miles, 65.1 hours.
No [ENGINE] issues.
(But I don't have an electric "motor" in mine..)

That's The way I look at it. When you see a sign that say's no motorized vehicles beyond this point they can't be talking about snowmobiles. That is unless you have electric start :face-icon-small-win

800 miles problem free

local dealer sold 32 800's with no motor failures. 1 had bad injector and 1 has the hesitation which has not been resolved. Not too bad overall.

Not alot of miles 350,800 PRO. Just got in a great spring ride today. Flawless!!!!

Out of the 40ish in our area this year one lost a pto rod bearing and one has had the "hesitation" issue. Best first year sled we've sold in years. Glad to hear yours is keepin a smile on ur face craig

Sure like what I'm reading here, I'm picking up a lightly used 2011 standard RMK tomorrow. I'm pumped to be getting one of these to ride for next year , was always worried about my Dragon packing it up in a bad place. I got to try a buddies 155" Pro and it kicked my 163" Dragon's butt. The Dragon had lower gearing, slp pipe, slp clutching and a PC3 on it. :heh:

over 1500 no problems, two buddies with over 1000 no problems, running boards weak, need airframes this summer, love this sled!

155 pro 2190 miles, 2 sets of injectors and an exhaust temp sensor. sled rocks... Got a 2012 coming......

PRO 800 with 500 miles now and not a single problem. I had "the bog" once but I am pretty sure it was from drinking a little water, we were riding wet/heavy over the bars powder that day.
My dad has a PRO 800 with 800 miles, again not a problem.

900 flawless miles on the pro. Very attentive to warm up. Was a later build, went over it carefully after receipt, all wiring, hose routing, etc. If I had a prob, I'm be telling it.
