Endoed and bent my tunnel...

Well I endoed my sled a while back and I am just looking at my options to fix it. It is a 02 800 RMK 151, with insurance. The only thing that really got damaged was the tunnel when it flipped over. It bent the rear of the tunnel down toward the track. I was thinking that I would only have to replace the rear half of the tunnel, because where the edge tunnel is raised up they are riveted together. But when I looked at the OEM parts diagram it sells as one piece. So now I need to know when insurance totals out a sled. Any ideas??
My deductable is $500.
Looks like the tunnel comes as the entire chassis for $900. Plus a lot for labor.
I also think with some work and metal fab I could get it to work on my own for pretty cheap..

A good parts man can find you just the back half. It is hidden in how they list it in there. Trust me on this one. Unfortunatley, I have bought several. :face-icon-small-hap Seems like they were only about $200 and pretty easy to swap them put. Just had to change the whole tunnel out on mine this year as well. That was not too bad either. Just takes a while to do it. I found a good used tunnel off of a parts sled for $100. There is hope.

I have a brand new tunnel and bulk head for 500 it's for the 02 i woulsd even throw in a steering hoop with the foot wells still attached.

last year I hit a tree with my 03 vertical escape. took out a trailing arm, a shock, and a tie rod. The impact ended up putting a slight wrinkle in the tunnel under the front foot rest. Just barely....you could only notice it if you fliped the sled over. The insurance totaled it. They said because chassis is one peace they would have to replace the entire thing and the labor did not justify the repair. They gave me a check for $4500, I bought the sled back from the insurance for $800 and paid $500 deductable. I ended up leaving the tunnel as is and repaired the sled for $300 in used parts. Walked away with $2900 in my pocket and a salvage title Good luck.

Yeah looks like they do..
I think this is it Tunnel Extension

Not a bad price either.

05rmksteve how was the install??

Thanks Guys

It was pretty easy to install. Drilled out the old rivets pulled the old tunnel extension out and installed the new one. There are no holes in the van amburg extension so you have to line it up and drill your own. I tipped mine up a little more than the original one. Van amburg also sells a rivet kit it comes with a driver for an air chisel and a couple different sizes of rivets.
