you got to be kidding, if your sled breaks down you guys hire a helicopter to tow it out?? how much is that??

It's $1500.00 and hour and yes...even with a motor pulled out and two to three sleds pulling, it would be "almost" impossible to pull up over some of the hills we go down. If it was hard packed, then yes, but in deep, it is practically impossible.

ha i hope i dont have to call that up to pull my sled out , i needed it for work last summer 25 grand an hour with a minumum fly time of 4 hours !
What I have heard the choppers around Revelstoke charge $1000 per hour. So to get a sled off Boulder is around $350 Keystone can be a bit more pricey around $900 or more.

They make this fancy invention that will help avoid a $800 air lift out......its called - a tow rope.
we have hooked three sleds together to tow one out of a bowl, and have even gone so far as to take a motor out of a sled, take it home, re-build it and re-install it on the mountain.
IMO, you only need a heli if what remains of your sled won't fit in 3 garbage bags or less.
yea no one in my group has ever called a heli there to expensive all you need is a few guys and some self determination you can get them out from any where pretty well.......

LMAO. I fell out of bed I was laughing to hard!
That's about right. We sent the chopper right to the sled with the cordinates from my GPS at the back side of Keystone. The pilot slung the sled back to Revy to their yard, $980.00.
actually i am the only doo in my group all cats.... I cant see myself ever paying 1000 bucks to come fish out a sled..... i sure hope i dont ever have to help out a fellow yamaha rider get his snow pig out.... by the way i could blow up my motor bout 6 times and it still be cheaper then fixing a yamasquaw once.

uuuummmm i hate to tell you this but almost all doo motors are back ordered right now
oohh yah we have seen how cheap they are to fix most explode so its about 4500$ you can build a built yammi 4 for that.LOL!
