Tomer notes that the strength of the current La Niña means we might have a ‘warm, dry fall and a late start to winter for a lot of the west.’ The rest of the winter will pretty much mirror the previous two, which is good news for the PNW, British Columbia, Alberta, and the northern states; Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming, as well as the northeast of New England. My forecast for the upcoming Fall and Winter focusing on skiing, ENSO, patterns, and SST’s.
