Anyone know if you could fit a 154 summit xp in the back of a short box duramax (older style) with a v nose enclosed hooked up?

Done many time with a buddies truck, lift back of sled and let it sit on top of tailgate.

Or get a quality hitch extender of sufficient length. Just be sure to be aware of what that does to crossing a dip in the road.

yes my brother has a dent in the v-nose from hauling a polaris switchback 144
in the back of a chevy 200? 2500 crewcab gas with shortbox 6.5?

I have a dent in my charmac from hauling my buddies 154 doo. It was at an angle and sitting on top of tail gate. It was in a shortbox duramax. It will depend on hitch and trailer. You will just have to check for yourself. I thought our ordeal would just clear. I was wrong.

I'm sure every trailer is different, plus, you may clear in turns but going thru dips, like out of driveways, the top of the trailer will get closer to truck so allow for that.

Yep bunch of times but I use a 24 inch superhitch extension. Other wise a little close for me.
