Enclosed trailer questions...HELP please!

I am looking at upgrading from an open trailer to an enclosed. The time has come where I need the extra room for the kids to change inside & storage of sleds. We currently have 2 long tracks & a sled the kids ride in. I live in Wyoming & we all know how the wind blows here, so I am concerned with crosswinds & trying to find what length & width trailer would be best. I have done a little research & don't know if I should get an inline 7' & stagger the sleds?? ANY HELP & INPUT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thanks.

Everything I've read here from other folks in windy Wyoming is DEFINATELY go with the staggered 7 foot wide. I would think a lower ceiling as well but then you're always having to remember to duck!

I have a standard 3 place, 8'4" wide, tall enclosed interstate and I've pulled it up I-90 in some serious winds (60 to 70mph side wind is huge for us) and the rest of the traffic on the hiway was doing all they could to give me room.
The wind was changing the lanes for me, sometimes more than just one lane. Scared the HEII out of me.

I would go with the narrow trailer if I had to deal with that kind of wind all the time.

Hope this helps.

If you buy the car trailer and stagger the sleds you will be fine.. I have always had a 4 place enclosed. But this last year I have had to leave my trailer down south and go back and get it when the winds died down.. This last winter for Wy. was one of the hardest I have seen in my 30+ years of sleddin. Just don't buy an all aluminum trailer I did have a Triton and rolled that muther here in town from the winds.. Steel is good.. good luck
