Enclosed Trailer Doors Freeze Shut

I have an enclosed trailer, and every time we get rain or the snow melts my doors freeze shut. It does have drip edges over the doors. Does anyone have a solution that will not trash the integrity of the seals?

Thanks

I find that after a ride, the snow melts off and drips out the doors. this causes mine to freeze. dont' really know of a solution, other then to park the trailer in a heated shop.

That was my thought, some sort of petroleum product. I just don't want to attract dust and create a different problem.

Try Glycol (antifreeze) in a spray bottle. You can use Sierra if you want to be enviro friendly.

Oil or glycol. Take used oil dilute it with gas or just get a rag and wipe it or grease.

Spray silicone like I use on the rubber seals on my watersports dry suit. Enviro friendly and good for the seals. Or, a very thin coat of vaseline.

I used vaseline on mine and it seemed to fix the problem... at least I haven't had a problem in the last month with it.

my trailer has a dovetail at the back of it with a very small raised lip and drain holes to keep the water off the door seal.
