Enclose Trailer Question

Hello all,

I have an opportunity to buy a 2000 or 2001 Charmac enclosed trailer. I believe it's a 15' box with 3' V. First question is, what is a general value of this trailer? The seller is looking to sell for $4500. Currently I have a 03 Ford Expedition with the 5.4 Liter engine. Is this enough rig to pull this trailer loaded with two sleds? I think the tow rating is around 7000, but I want real world numbers. Thanks for the help.

i pull a 27 ft triton with my 1500 gmc but it dosnt like it. id look for a bigger puller for that trailer.

3-4K more you can buy an brand new 27' all aluminum.....seems a bit high for that ol tanker.

Plans are in the works to get a new, bigger rig, but probably not till next year. The Expedition would have to get me through this winter. What's the weight of your 27' Triton?
