Emergency start strap

When we purchased a pair of 900's three years ago, we did not get a tool kit or an emergency start strap. I wouldn 't mind maybe making a couple of the straps to keep on the sleds. Anyone have specs on the strap or is it just as well to order one from Polaris?

it is about an inch wide and 30 or so inches long, any strap or rope will work, i would us an old tie down strap.

The one from Polaris is only like $5 or so.... never used it on my sled, but it did come in handy for a cat one day when his recoil wouldn't grab. I would say you could probably use an old piece of a ratcheting strap if you have one laying around...

Just pulled it out to look at it for the first time. It measures 52 inches long. and just looks like a piece of ratchet strap with the ends folded over and sewn together.
