This is what was sent out to the Hidden Gems Supporters yesterday. I suggest that we do the same thing if their leader promotes vote stacking.

Vote YES for the Hidden Gems now!
Here's something you can do to support wilderness RIGHT NOW, with just a couple of clicks. This week's Aspen Times reader poll question is:
Do you favor the Hidden Gems proposal to add wilderness protection to certain lands in western Colorado?
Please click here to go to the poll and cast your vote for protecting the Hidden Gems! It only takes a second.

You can vote multiple times, but you must wait three or so hours between each vote.

The Times has an editor who is an avid snowmobiler, and it looks like the opposition got the jump on us with this poll. We can't let this be a lopsided outcome against us. Please vote now and vote often, and ask your friends to do the same!
Thank you!

This week’s online poll has been pulled as a result of voter efforts to stuff the ballot box, so to speak.

Message I found when I followed the link.

Oh Gee! The Poll has been pulled to "voters" trying to stuff the ballot box.

I wonder who that could be?

Just goes to show how dirty and underhanded the Hidden Gems supporters are. I find it funny that today's Liberal has lost all values and ethics and will stoop to any low to get what they want.

You don't see us burning buildings, spiking trees, vandalizing equipment and other things that could ultimately kill others.

Politics PJ.

Nice thing is though, they are panicking. They probably thought that Pitkin would be a cake walk. Their e-mail blast with ballot stuffing and these type of tactics can be used against them in the future. Any other polls that they participate in can be deemed as inaccurate because of their call for voting multiple times. If your going to cheat, don't announce it to the world.

Keep a copy of this blast for future ammunition.

Them stacking the ballot box AND getting the poll pulled by the Aspen Times is SO PERFECT!!!

THey have to go to lowly tactics to try and get their support????

We are slowly getting them on the ropes............keep your heads down, chins square and keep laying on the blows to the body and the head! Sooner or later THEY WILL FALL & FAIL!!

United We Stand!

Great job everybody!

Stuffing the ballot box.... LOL!

Not like it takes more than 30min to write a PERL script that would prevent multiple votes from a single Source IP? That would eliminate ~97% of the problem, yet clobber ~3% of "legitimate" voters who share IPs via a common Firewall.

Better to pull the voting alltogether, than fix it - Classic Media Move.
Next, they'll write an article about that to fill their empty pages!
