I was wondering how high up the road/trail goes at Bearpaw, and also at Excelsior. If anybody knows offhand, I'd appreciate it.

Looks like according to Google maps that the road 3160 dies at about 4900'.

Haven't been up in a while. How is the coverage from the parking lot? It's my first season riding, would shriebers or glacier creek offer better terrain for learning?

The riding in Glacier isn't as steep as Bear Paw, but offers a wide range of terran for all level of riders
