Thanks to everyone who turned out for the premier of Elevation 4 and Boondockers aliVe last night in Fresno. We had a blast the entire weekend and both films got really good reviews (thank God!).
This was my first time seeing Boodockers 5 and Dan, Phatty, Ryan and the boys put together one of the coolest snowmo films i've ever seen. They have a real distinctive riding style and Dan really laid down some skills behind the camera in the editing suite (not to mention in the thick apsen groves of Utah)!
We also got to see a sneak peek of 509 Films "Evolution" (thanks Tom for sending out the home burn). About 30 of us watched it at my house yesterday afternoon and everyone dug this movie. Tom's camerawork looked REALLY good in this movie along with the typical high-quality graphics and packaging we've come to expect from 509 and the riding was incredible. Tons of huge pulls, shot in stunning 1080i HD with great music and put together in a VERY clean presentation...a total grand-slam for Tom and the boys.
We also watched Thunderstuck 7 (Dan Bush came down for our premier so we had to watch his segment like 60 times) LOL! Jim did a great job filming the biggest climbs anyone has captured on camera to date. Randy Swenson is stupid-crazy!!!
The last movie we watched in our marathon sled-vid weekend was Slednecks 11. What can you say about this one...jaw-dropping drop-o-rama, top-notch filmwork and another great sled-flick for the collection.
***The big winner of the Elevation 4/Team Summit Productions Pre-Order contest was....***
Tim McKnight from Cascade, Montana!!
I spoke to Tim just moments ago who said, "I've never even won a free lotto scratcher!"
Hopefully your luck has changed! Tim won an all-expense paid trip to ride with Team Summit this season and we can't wait to have him out! He also scored a $500 gift certificate from West Coast Sleds!
Thanks again to everyone who pre-ordered...your vids will go out this week!
Our next big screening will be on October 11th in Reno, Nevada again with Team Boondockers. There's a thread on this now but we'll be hosting the party at the Grand Sierra Resort! The following weekend most of the team will be in Seattle for the snow-show in Puyallup.
Can't wait to see everyone!
