Electronic reverse on 99 xc 700?

Does anyone know of a kit for electronic reverse for a 99 xc 700? Can this be done? Thanks.

No kit.

You could potentially use the parts from an '04 or newer but you're going to spend some big coin getting it all put together. And you'll end up running the VES CDI which has a bit different curve and have to go to rack carbs or figure out a way to eliminate the TPS sensor input.

If you are riding it on the trails (XC and all) I would just find a mechanical reverse kit for it.

it would be more cost effective to buy a sled with it, between having to buy carbs, stator, flywheel and everything else its not worth it
