Electrical ? on 07 600RMK

Hey need a little help. I had to replace the wiring harness on the kids 07 600 Replaced the section from the instrument pod to the next section which ihas the plug ins under the pipe. All good now as far as having speedo, rpm, MPH, and everything else, but now his brake indicator light stays on no matter what I do. If I apply the brake it dims the indicator light but it stays on constant. Any body got an idea on how to fix it?

Sounds like a missing ground wire....


I would just double check everything over again...

Check the wiring to the brake light itself.

Same thing happened to me after I performed a crude wiring job installing a Lead Dog helmet light. Somewhere in the crudeness the brake dash light received power from the tail light circuit. The issue did not surface until the day of the Iron Dog trail class ride and the dash light stayed on for 1,000 miles. A clean up of the wiring job restored order. Something similar probably occured with you, so review the wiring job. Your Polaris dealer will have the schematics you seek.
