Ok, so I have a rental fleet of 2008 Ski Doo Summit 550 fans (among other sleds). Recently i am starting to get about half a dozen of them with some electrical issues. Here's what's going on.
During a ride the speedo and guages conk out, the light for oil and temp come on and the speedo stops working. Usually shutting the machine off and restarting resets it then is happens again a short time later. We have been trying to trouble shoot this for the past couple of weeks and cannot come up with anything. We have checked connectors, looked for frayed or split wires, checked fuses and nothing. Does anyone have any thoughts as to what this might be? Sleds have between 2000 and 4000 miles. I am going to post this again in the ski doo section, but thought I'd bring it up to a larger audience for ideas.
