Electrical issue? 2009 Assault

Took my recently 2010 updated 2009 Assault to the Yooper on Sunday for a shakedown run. Come back from the ride, unload the sled and put in the garage with no problems. 2 days later go out and start the sled and I have no headlight, tailight or gauge! Anyone have a clue where to start! I did a quick inspection of the wiring harness and all wiring on the clutch cover and could see no problems. What would cause lights and gauges to go out but still allow the sled to run and operate as normal???

voltage regulator. usually dash and headlight will come on if you rev. up engine. I wouldn't ride machine as ECM will burn up or can damage engine.

I have not ridden the sled since this happened however I have put a few R's on the motor and have not had the lights come on. Maybe I can find a donor sled and try there voltage regulator quick. Thanks a bunch guys!!!
