electric start from one sled to another?

How difficult is it to remove the electric start from my 2014 pro to my sons 2014 pro? Ive installed electric start on my skidoo xp with no problem but I'm kind of new to the pro's and as far as I can tell its all plug and play other than removing the starter itself. Just wondering if I need to do anything with the brain box or anything. Will it fit on a 2013 also? Thanks

Can be swapped, with primary and bat box, of course, no programming required. Can't say about the 13, unknown bat box changes, if any.

You didn't say if they were both 800's or not. Primary clutches are different between 600 and 800.


That being said I have a 2015 600 RMK and a 2013 800 Pro RMK. Both battery boxes and elec start hardware is the same.


Clutches are not.
