So I just installed my third E-Start on a Polaris last weekend, paying close attention ot the instructions it shows the Circut Breaker mounted perfectly horizontally on one of the Solenoid mount studs, and the instructions say in bold type to: NOTE CIRCUT BREAKER ORIENTATION.

I do not have enough room to do this exactly like the picture.

Does it matter if it is flipped up side down 180* or even mounted vertically?

The way I read it and by the photo is that they dont want it to short or rub on anything... but they are not sensitive to how they are mounted for operation.

No, it doesn't. I know what you mean. The picture shown here and in the e-start instructions are not even close to what comes in the kit from Polaris. They come with a double angled zinc plated bracket and it's on this bracket that the solenoid and circuit breaker mount. It is impossbible to mount it the way the pic shows above as the angle doesn't allow it.

I attached mine to the lower set of studs from where the solenoid is and pointed upside down and angled in towards the sled from the pic above. That way the lower body panel doesn't interfer if the sled takes a side shot in the area.

I did verify the wiring matches though.
