I just got off the phone with Electric Mountain Lodge. They are going to open for the season this weekend. They are up there shoveling everything out right now! Yay!

I have reservations up there january 26 27... cant wait. Guess you have to ride your sled into lodge from a parking lot... about 12 to 15 miles. Would be nice if someone could post pictures from there?

How much snow does that area get compared to rest of mesa area? Looks like its out on the end of trail system. If anyone else going to be up there on January 26 27. Would like some suggestions on where to ride?
Its' a little lower in elevation so not quite as much snow - my suggestion is to head west. You start getting into some higher better terrain towards the west. Great lodge -
I haven't been to the parking lot this year, we came in from the Leroux Creek side, but I understand from a buddy that the road is plowed about 3 miles past the forest service parking lot. They do have a turnaround area at the end of the plowed part. Then it's about a 10 mile ride on a groomed trail to the lodge.
