We've heard Mike and Nancy is leaving Electric Lodge. Does anyone know whats going on with the lodge? New Owners? Shutting down?

It's definitely not shutting down! There are new owners that are very sled oriented. Plans are for expansion, more lodging next year, then probably rentals/tours after that.
There will be an official press release in the next week, I'll make sure it gets posted in the Colorado forum.
We are really going to miss Mike and Nancy, we stayed with them 9 and 10 days the last two years and the year before it blew we was there a week, they've always treated us like family. But I'm glad to hear its going to stay open and and possibly grow, hopefully the new owners will be as friendly and hospitable as Mike and Nancy was.

Carbondale, CO., July 23, 2009 –The Colorado Sledstyle Team is proud to announce the recent purchase of Electric Mountain Lodge. Located on the Grand Mesa in Western Colorado, Electric Mountain Lodge is the current home of the Colorado Sledstyle training facility. Colorado Sledstyle has already begun work to develop the Lodge into a one-of-a-kind training facility providing rookie and seasoned freestyle riders a safe, fun, and exciting place to hone their skills.

Electric Mountain Lodge provides comfortable accommodations, great food, wireless internet, fuel and a small store on site so riders can relax and be better prepared for each day of progression and fun on the snow.
