Electric line from Brake Caliper Husqvarna FE501

I'm just getting started putting my Timbersled on my new FE501. My last bike was a 2002 CRF 450, so things have changed a little. There is an electric line paralleling the hydraulic line from the caliper. What does this do? When I disconnect it from the wiring harness to remove the brake will this cause any issues?

Its Just ur speedo/tach. Disconnect it from behind headlight
