electric issue on 99' rmk

my buddy's sled has stopped running and tested the spark to see if it was sparking, but no spark so he put the different CDI from other running sled and tried it on and still no spark. Did test the stator, it seem to be fine.... He dont know what something is missing. Any struggle?

Look at this thread. You have the same electronics as the 98 RMK.
