HOWEVER, looking at the terrain indicators and bent trees, that looks like it has slid before many times. Standing in the middle of it while others are climbing....not what I'd be doing.

I was thinking the same thing. I understand that to get the shot you sometimes have to stand out there in the danger zone.... just gets my heart racing looking over at those trees and thinking about the worst that could happen.

Funny how your brain thinks differently once you've been buried and recovered.
