The owner before me put the EGT gauges on. I don't know how to tune with them and am not really trying to. Only thing i'm curious on is why the right side (mag side?) runs, on average, 60 degrees higher than the left. Should i change my change to make them even or is this normal?

whay kind of engine. if its a rotary valve like a 670 the mag side always is a liitle hotter. something to do with the rotary valve. also check carb sink.

That is not enough difference to even think about.
We were always happy to get them with in 150 to 200 of each other.

Holy crap!
I was bugging out over a 25-40* difference on mine. I'm a newb with the quages though.
I have an 827 and my right side is 40 degrees hoter also and runs good.
