Effects of a blown throttle body boot?

Looking for some help on the witnessed effects of a blown throttle body boot on a Dragon, specifically a 2007 Dragon 700 with a silber turbo.

How bad will it lean out enough to burn it down?
Should pistons be replaced?
Any tell tale signs that the boot caused a burn down?

THANKS

On a turbo you would be losing air not fuel so it would become rich. Shouldn't really hurt anything. Without the turbo a leak causes the engine to suck in more air than it's supposed to causing it to go lean.

Blown throttle boot.

I have an 08 BD turdoed 800 dragon. I had a blown boot on mine and did not notice it at first. After playing on some hills in the afternoon the sled was working good. Then after awhile on the way home it was crapping out abit. Then we were on the trail back to the truck. It seemed ok. When I got back to the truck I just drove off of the trail and straight onto the deck with out stopping. When I got home and unloaded the sled it would not idle down. After inspecting everything I just replace the boot with a backing plate. Its been good ever since. Have had it up to 12 psi boost and still ok.
