So, Inspector01, Snomoherb and company gave us some motivation to run up to Gallagher Tuesday. Inspector's post concerning the conditions was spot on, but we still managed to get up there and find some good snow up there. It snowed and blowed on us most of the day, then the sun started coming out! Only the super motivated, don't mind banging some skis up, gonna overheat a few times, glass half full kind of riders would want to go up there with the sh!tty winter we've had. Took us an hour and fifteen minutes to drive from the snopark to the Lake Anne cutoff. We unloaded at the Lake Anne cutoff(road was rutted out and like driving on a river bed after the cutback), rode up the main road and then cut up to Gallagher. There is still good snow on the trail between where we unloaded to the Gallagher cutoff, but at least half a mile of "ROCK" riding before you get to winter like conditions up at Gallagher. Only two suspect creek crossings just before you get up to there(one has a half remaining ice bridge)Have to be careful riding in some of the area with the creek holes and such. Here is a few pics from the ride and the trail up, hope it helps if you decide to ride. Brick afterward as always! - Drew
