Take the pipe and can off, clutches, air box and CDI/plug wires. Unbolt the front motor mount nuts, side bolt and rear motor mount bolts. Lift engine up and rotate so it sits where exhaust pipe would sit. You will be limited by cables and hoses, but don't disconnect anything.

Replace steering post, clean up all the residue, regrease post bushings, check front motor mount clutch side. If motor mount is good, pick up engine and rotate, drop back into position. Watch fuel pump placement and oil pump lever. Once close, get bolts started and reattach everything. Had I not run into a broken motor mount on mine, I think I would have been able to close the hood in about 1.5 hours total.

Drain the carb drains while they are easy to get to as well.
