Edge RMK covers? Where to buy?

F
Anyone have a preference on the cover that they use for their edge chassis RMK. I have a 2002 Edge RMK 159 and I was wondering what to go with for a travel cover. Dont have the luxury of having the enclosed trailer this year:face-icon-small-fro

Any links of where to find one would be useful!

Thanks,
-Dusty

Covers

I like the Polaris cover with red RMK letters on the side. The Polaris with the yellow Switchback lettering has a differetn fabric.

Bluedave and mkmart on e-bay sell new ones. Otherwise keep your eye peeled and check Craig's list as well.

Neither of those Polaris covers do a perfect job around the spindle.

The Polaris covers have nice hooks that make taking them on and off pretty painless.

One clip at the spindle, one just to the rubber limiting straps and one more on the back that can go down to one of the opne slots on the track.

Handlebar guards and risers can pose a dilemma.

The RMK has the grab bar covered but I don't remember if the switchback one does or not.

Parts Unlimited through Kirk are okay but the straps aren't as nice.

I have had many ScheerMadness Body Covers but they may not be in business anymore.

I did find a guy that was selling on on the JohnDee site for $55 shipped. It is a steal considering I usually paid $150 for them.

The covers are tough and keep color for a long time.

I searched for a good cover as you are then as availability was a issue and i was in a hurry bought one from Polaris dealer looks good fit good. but with my bar riser it ripper first use. I was going to try a Skins cover. Wish i would have waited!

I have 8 .5 inch risers with a factory cover with zero issues for 4 seasons now. Bup it on the bar risers first then over the front and then over the tail then tighten the straps.

Skinz cover is the way to go with risers! I have aftermarket grips that are very tacky so I throw plastic bags over them before I put the cover on, works great!!
