edge rear wheel

I ran 8" on my 159" without issue (no offset, but only for half a season). But, you should run an offset axle to keep the track on the rails. If you run anything bigger than the stock (7.25"?) rear wheels the track is held off the ends of the rails without an offset axle or a set of rails that are meant for the bigger wheels.
I would think 9" wheels wouldn't give you any trouble so long as you run an offset axle (like Mountain Machines Freedom axle, for exampe).
Can't imagine wanting to go to 10", and at that point you might be out of adjustment in track tension and might not be able to get the axle in anyway.

Here's a link to an 8" setup at a good price for sale in the swapmeet:

unless you are going to run a longer track the stock 6.38 in wheels are the only ones that will fit .With a freedom AXEL you can run 8s or 9s but the AX rolls the centerline forward and up 8" wheels take extra track length 8" wheels on mine put the track almost at the back of the rails about 3/8" away

hey guys, i got a question for you. Im looking to run big wheels in the rear and only inner wheels, ditch the outter rear wheels. whats the best thing to do. run the stock wheel size in my skid? have the 144 rail extension(buying new extensions, currently as 136", going to a 144" this year, edge skid) machined with the offset in them to run a straight/stock axle with larger wheels? run off set axles with 8" wheels. thanks
