Edge Chasis Fuel Line from Tank to Fuel Pump

New to the Edge chasis and cant figure out the reason for the excess of fuel line from the tank to the pump looping up from the tank to the valve and then looping back down to the carb fitting. Seems like a big detour and cant figure out why?

Why not clean up the fuel line mess and run it directly to the carb fitting from the tank?

Thanks for the input. It all toast now as I entirely eliminated the on/off valve and trimed the line and now have a clean looking and well fitting line from the tank to the fuel pump and from the fuel pump to the carb.

Thanks again guys.

No off/on? what happens when your needle gets something in it or you need to pull it?

Loss of the on/off means I'll use hose clamp and plug when pulling carbs and/or motor. What I think I will miss most is that I like to run the carbs dry when putting it away for the summer.

I guess I cant understand why you would remove your on off fuel switch just to have a little cleaner look. Seems like it could possibly be a safety issue as well. Hopefully your needles and seats stay in good working order.

no on/off is bad as the polaris sleds when hauling will let the extra fuel bounce into the bottom of the motor then causing your bearings to get fuel washed and can lead to a premature failure
