We're considering a snowmobiling trip to UT around mid-February and found a cabin for rent in Eden, UT. Is there good riding around Eden? Is it mostly boondocking, steep hills, a little of both,...? How is the snow this year in this area? Thanks.

Eden is a neat little town tucked away in the hills. I do a lot of work up there. Last year there was between ten and fifteen feet of snow just in town. That little vally for some reason really racked it up! I have been over there this week and there is about 4 feet in the valley and gradually gets deeper the higher up the benches you go. I have never snowmobiled out of Eden but I do know it sits between two of the greatest riding areas. to the south a short distance is morgan and there are some great places to go riding out of there. To the north you have many riding areas east out of cache valley.

I'm not sure of the exact location of the house...my brother is booking it. Sounds like you need more snow like we do here in Idaho.
Would we be better off heading up Logan Canyon to Tony Grove? Or is snow scarce across all of northern Utah?
Snow is scarce everywhere... Tony grove has lots of uncovered land mines right now.

yeah, Avon has some pretty good riding. and Monte Cristo is just up the road from Eden.
