Ecu flash 8000

Hi. Who do you guys use for a better ecu map on the 8000 dsi engine? I'm looking at buying a 23 or 24 and have heard precision doesn't make a flash for them. Supposedly cats tune from factory was better on the 23+.

Does linderman or Dakota make a flash for a stock sled similar to a precision to clean it up?

Thanks for any info.

I am running the Bikeman stock tune this year on a 23 Riot X. The sled always ran pretty good but with it now out of warranty I wanted more oil added. Definitely uses more oil and power wise I am at a slight over rev probably could add a gram of weight over stock at my elevation 1500ft.

Ok thanks for replying. So the flash added oil and some power? I've heard the 23+ 8000 did not have an option for precision tune. Not sure how. No idea how they could have made them any better than precious years with epa

How does the Bikeman toon work? Have a 22 m8 and it has a stumble in the low end.
It runs really good. Talked with someone from Bikeman as well as my dealer about the tune. The way I understand it is their tune cleans up the mapping, Cat's mapping had some lean and rich areas (EPA). There are different levels of tunes you can get, mine is the stock tune as i was interested only in adding more oil. Our dealer who isn't large by any means has flashed around 60 sleds over the last couple years and hasn't had any come back with problems or complaints. It works but there may be others with better mapping?
