ECU electrical question

During the 08-09 season I determined, with the help of you guys, that the relay driver in my buds 900 ecu was bad. So we bypassed it with a switch on the dash. Switch off to start the sled, switch on to get mfd and lights to work. This past season the stator took a crap. I bought a used ecu from bigdawgg, and have had it in the toolbox ever since. Now that I had to pull the tank and the engine to change the stator, I am going to put the ecu in that we got from BD. This is my question, do I leave the bypass switch in, and leave it off all the time, or do I pull it? We had to splice into the blue/white wire to make this all work. Thoughts?

you will want to take the bypass out unless you want to run it the way you have been.

i assume when you flip the switch you are grounding the wire? best to just take it out imo
